To give a sample of just daily computer use, I'm sitting at 30GB of RAM usage right now on my current PC (which has 64GB of DDR4) between Unity, Visual Studio, Blender, Firefox, and Photoshop.

That's for 32GB. I really want to get 64, since I always have so much stuff open at the same time when working on games. Plus, DCS (not that I've played it in many months now) basically requires 64 now. If I go with 64, I'm looking at like, at least $350, closer to $400, just for RAM.

Every daylight savings change, I either push the H button one time to move it an hour forwards, or I hold the H button for a couple seconds until it cycles back to previous one hour. There are no menus. No modes. No app. No social media account. No Discover feed to push ads. No menus. Only button.

I guess my main question is, is it supposed to be a really awkward keyboard shortcut dance to check between the bones in pose mode, to switching to object to select the mesh then switching to edit to then switch to weight painting and doing that whole thing backwards to check your work?

I have to believe there's some deeply rooted, load bearing, technical reason for why Factor 5 shipped three whole games with the RS3D controls virtually untouched.

The rules for this controller:
1. Side stick applies both yaw and roll in that direction
2. An auto-roll input is continuously applied
3. If the ship is too far up/down, auto-roll is paused
That's it. That's Rogue Squadron controls but good. RS3D adds a ton of complexity that makes it worse.

It's not a VR exclusive game, nor was it designed to be.

These are the earliest screenshots I have, one of which is just called ai.png, and I'm assuming it's when I got my first ever steering behaviors working.
The other is a simple camera/controls test. 3rd person!

I was having a lot of trouble with the GOG version too. The Zoom Platform version worked "out of the box" for me, and includes for the 3dfx version and a D3D version.
