I think in a media climate where everything is very clearly and blatantly stated, spoonfed to the audience, this was a breath of fresh air. even if it could've been refined a bit.

agreed, the worst part of it is that it was pretty confusing and cagey with the plot and backstory but honestly trying to piece it together and discussing it with my friends afterward was a much more engaging aftermath than most media are able to elicit nowadays
