It can be a driver issue too. The issue is often caused by a driver trying to access an address in RAM that it doesn't have permissions for. Sometimes this can be a driver that just got a bit corrupted. Definitely would recommend updating what drivers you can, like display drivers.

But if they "meet", wouldn't that imply an impact? Quantum tunneling and the like would be a distinct lack of a "meeting".
