Not a question just an observation. Isn’t it just lovely refs being normal human beings. Why is nobody in the media pointing out how mental the start of last season was?(Ala Rice vs Brighton amongst others) the way games are “managed” by refs is apples and pears compared to last season. V welcome

If a person was asked to draw what someone would look like if they ate a mixed grill for every meal for a year I’d imagine that face comes close. Somehow not even the most disturbing part of the interview.

Just the most boring template answers should do the trick. “No comment” or “didn’t see” controversial decisions, how work to do on training ground etc etc give them nothing, good luck making headlines out of that

I largely agree, usually he does but vs Newcastle (twice) and PSG (best team didn’t win comment) he needs to basically say nothing when he’s fuming and the media manager needs to step up. You want your defeat pressers to be the most forgettable not the stick used to beat you with.

As an Arsenal fan living in Newcastle it’s tough batting for him in “debates”. He’s seen as a whiner and Arsenal as “soft” in general. I love Arteta but he could take a leaf from Eddie Howe in post pressers for winning hearts and minds. When you lose unjust-Ly just play it with a straight bat fella
