Hilarious algorithm fail OTD: two of the most disdainful, arrogant old men in pop culture talking to each other about their own genius. The haircut and dye job, tinted glasses & cigarillo taking to the author of some of the most sneering, condescending lyrics ever, Billy Joel. LOL

There were two border patrol guys in Newhalem yesterday. Were they keeping 'Murica safe from moose? What's going on?

Are we not going to talk about Juneuary?

"We don't need more supply" to reach lower income people. Doesn't explain how this works.

Oh wow the Tacoma guy who set fire to the police precinct is running for Seattle mayor, and just admitted he voted for Trump and Ferguson.

We definitely have a winner for best 'stache

The Trump voter wants subsidized housing and greater housing density. 🤔

I forgot how much I missed fringe candidates since moving from Idaho.
"It's unreasonable to expect" this candidate to have opinions about complex policy issues. But AI and taking after work.

D9 candidate Mia Jacobson has a bit of a dazed look on the stage, I suppose it's bc she's waiting for the impending global transformation.
June 5, 2025 at 2:11 AM
Cateye bespectacled, tattooed D2 candidate Rachel Savage is against estate, inheritance and luxury real estate taxes.... voted for Trump. Bold, doomed campaign stances. (Nash voted Trump too)

Citywide candidates on whether they think transit in Seattle is unsafe. (What does safety mean in this context? Unclear.)
June 5, 2025 at 1:56 AM
At the 🏘️&🚌 candidate form and all these D2 candidates are pro-density & urbanist. Makes my former Idaho/Utah resident heart sing.

We got a singing tree lady!
May 20, 2025 at 12:20 AM
This (oooh scary) local developer of DADUs says he built 15 cottages without cutting down a single tree. Behind him are the wealthy homeowners who can't do math - density in town preserves trees outside town.
May 20, 2025 at 12:20 AM
I love that so many first time speakers are coming out for more housing density and the to One Seattle Plan. Hooray for #Abundance!
May 20, 2025 at 12:07 AM
Spare us the whataboutism. Yep, corporations have way too much power. Also blue city wish-list regulation has made housing insanely expensive. The author of this article conveniently avoids the many studies that show that more housing supply drives down rents and home prices. #abundance #ezraklein

Are they doing this to keep us from retiring? Because I'm feeling like that's getting even further out of reach.
