I see so many food blogs that turn to AI slop and it's just so uncomfortable. My new favorite genre of food blog are cocktail blogs that use AI images and don't notice the mint growing out of glasses or the watermelon seeds in the glass. Calorie as in I laugh as I tell them we can't work with them.

While MAGA gave them a blueprint, they've been on this path for awhile. I don't doubt you recognize it isn't just the US, but far too many people on this app will just blame it on the US and act like Canada couldn't have done this on their own.

Canada's hate and ignorance of their far right movement has been there long before Maga. They were just looking for a blueprint. My point is that blaming it just on the US, ignores that they have many many many problems that would have led them here eventually.

It's easy to dunk on the US, but Canada has their own MAGA minded crowd, and have had their own antivax movements.

At the end of the day it's the global trend of individualism that's at fault.
