I love finding snippets like this on Newspapers.com. Tora (Victoria) Partain, my maternal grandmother, was 16 when this was written in 1933. She was a huge presence in my formative years and died in a car accident in 1988--when I was 16. (Her 3rd ggrandfather was Dolly Parton's 5th.)

My govt contractor job is supposed to RTO full-time the day after Labor Day. No one will be home to keep the pooch quiet while my husband sleeps for the overnight shift. And I will miss working from home with the dog. Actively searching for a better opportunity.
