Can't say I have ever been a fan of the G7 structure, but this doesn't improve things at all. Africa and South America still shafted, but let's just add in all of Europe.

And try to ignore economic power needed as part of any serious conversations.

But then that is idiocracy is the point here.

Hickenlooper is also totally sold out to corporations. Totally out of touch with Colorado and the needs of anyone under 60 who he doesn't talk to.

Funny thing is I did try that before. Amazing ly one doesn't get to this point until other options have faileed.

The Republicans have lost any thread to morality. And are engaged in an active extralegal campaign of hate and abuse.

Although true as to funding, I try not draw direct parallels at this point to Republicans because they are different.

I still feel Dems have better angels to appeal to.

Most Dems in office don't care what people think. They care about what donors think, and what marketers tell them people think. They don't engage with people except through advertisements run through marketers and donors. That includes post put up here by most Dems

Savor the ones who are different

Often like the US at the UN. Or Republican Senators and representatives from states and districts that get back far more than they send in.

Thankfully. Though rumor has it that he is Bennet's preferred choice to replace him in the Senate if Bennet wins the Gov. I'd really like Bennet to say this is a no go.

And yes she tried contacting you to figure it out, but didn't get a response. Seemed like a moot point after death.
But zombie customers service comes and bites back.

The corporate Dems who run the Democratic Party are the Dixiecrats of today.

They aren't for a party of the people, by the people, a for the people. They are corporate donors with special access.

Until those Dems are replaced there will be no improvement in that party.

Feel the same way about most American "Christians" and Christ.

We aren't a civil society. That house burned to a no longer habitable point, yet here we are trying to live in the ruins and calling it still a house

We have to tear down the parts that are dangerous, deal with the roaming thugs and thieves trying to loot what remains then build civil society anew

This is what corporate propaganda that supports inequality and the 1% looks like. This is why WaPo is not a news organization. It is Pravda for crony capitalists.
December 8, 2025 at 3:55 PM
Pro-primaries.
I hate the way the Denver Post, like most so-called news organizations, prioritize the incumbent as being challenged instead of both running for the position. Incumbency doesn't give a right to office.
But so much reporting assumes so.

Trump only finds it a problem because it wasn't taken over by the far right. That is his problem. But CNBC would never put that in a headline.
December 8, 2025 at 3:27 PM
We need to make a list for the future. So we can fix those with hard work, instead of just letting it pass as a temporary blip to the status quo which is what Dems did in the past.
It won't be easy, but it is necessary.
The opposition depends upon us not having the grit for it.
December 8, 2025 at 7:46 AM
According to Politico there have been more than 700 cases before more than 220 judges challenging Trump's mass detention policies.

As far as why the "press" owned by the oligarchy doesn't generally cover that... Well I think you can guess what story they are pushing.

Polis. The man who saw what Trump was, and then moved to right.

2/ Politically people are looking for a path in the future towards broad human flourishing. Tying oneself to a Clintonian past that includes Biden isn't it.
That isn't a record to run on, or a record people want to play again.
The Donor owned Democratic Party isn't a message that will win.
