I even printed up a little rack to hold all the random Gundam markers and hobby tools that I've slowly accumulated over the past few years. Any excuse to organize crap.

I decided to pretty up the Blokees Evangelion model I put together a couple weeks ago. Specifically, by adding a bit of paint to the stark white buildings it came with.

This was my first time trying to do some real model painting, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how well they turned out!

I just made my first custom WWF No Mercy character in 25 years.

The Optimus Prime figure from Blokees Transformers Shining Version 02 - Shining 1985 series. It's the "secret figure" that's done up in nice, metallic colors. The figure is styled to look like the G1 Optimus Prime toy. The figure is connected to a Tamashii Nations display stand to recreate Prime's iconic leap into the air during his arrival at Autobot City in 1986's The Transformers: The Movie. The Blokees Evangelion model ended up being more involved than I originally thought (it's not a complicated build, but there were more parts then I assumed), but the end result looks pretty darn rad.

One of the neat things about owning a 3D printer is having a really stupid idea in the middle of the night, popping online and discovering that someone else had the same stupid idea and did something about it.

One of those plasma globe things. A clear glass orb sits on a black pedestal. Blue plasma filaments extend from a smaller orb inside the larger sphere, causing pink energy bursts where the filament touches the interior of the glass. My extended fingers near the plasma globe. Blue plasma filaments are shooting towards my hand, causing pink tendrils to radiate around the area near my fingers. My index finger touching the plasma globe. A single blue plasma filament arcs and curves all over the place, eventually landing on the spot I'm touching.
