Exactly. I’ve been told that as a white man I should be worried about whites being overtaken in America. WTF. I don’t care what color of skin future America has, I care that we are not hurting our neighbors and that we are upholding the ideals I once thought most of us shared. It’s horrifying.

I’ve never been in a church that actually taught those things. I know people like you describe who are religious, but if they’ve been to churches like the ones I’ve been to, they are like that despite the teachings, not because of them.

I know exactly what you mean. Seems like they normally use a tone of voice when they say it that betrays the code word too. I’m usually torn about wishing they knew how they sounded, because sometimes I’m glad that they revealed to me their character. I wish people didn’t think that way.
