Westminster Governments have siphoned off hundreds of billions of pounds in oil revenues from our corner of Scotland, yet in our hour of need Labour has abandoned Aberdeen & the north east.

Starmer, Reeves & Miliband must understand that the fight for fairness isn’t over.

Whilst Scotland has the .scot top level domain (TLD), and Wales .wales and .cymru, there has never been an application for an England TLD.

That's because .uk is used instead. Thus continuing the prejudice that the UK = England.

English identity really is in a mess.

Scotland could expect to separate from the UK and become an EU member within seven years (or less) of its Declaration of Independence.

Here's a description of how.

It's a typically English bit of analysis as the journey distances 'darn Sarf' are often quite compressed. Few people travel any real distance for food shopping for example, compared to the average distance in Scotland being about 12 miles to a medium size store.
Pathetic analysis costs us yet again.

This will literally kill the EV market.
It's already killed the E-Vans before they even bring this to them.
I drive an average of 1k miles per week in my work van.
52k per year (average).
£1560 per year in road tax if my van was electric.
13 vans in the fleet.
£20,280 per year in road tax.

Tbh I don't think they care one way or the other about us ordinary people, or give us a 2nd thought, so long as their cushy lifestyles aren't affected by any of this "unpleasantness". When they say everyone needs to contribute they mean us more than them.

So, if I get this right, the UK Labour Gov's EV policy is to penalise people who need to drive longer distances in their electric cars. 3 miles in a city, fine. 25 rural miles to go to the nearest supermarket, hammer them hard. Do these people never think things through properly

Very true 👍 Acts of Union are domestic law.

International law does not obligate Scotland to remain in the UK if it democratically chooses independence.

The principle of self-determination under international law supports the right to choose independence through a referendum/democratic process.
