I find this pretty irritating as a reviewer. And the author must be pissed off as well.

If the journal didn't want to publish an article, they could have desk rejected it instead of wasting everyone's time and effort.

I tried capturing light pollution in Paris last wk, but it was too high for my phone to believe! Light reflected off clouds & my phone wouldn't accept the sky colour.

My phone whitened the image to correct it (pic 1). Pic 2 uses "golden" which slightly overdoes it, but is *much* closer to accurate.
