I think I’ve worked through the issues and am able to get consistent good stitches. This weekend I’m going to start on some of my old band shirts!

Was able to wind the bobbin, thread the needle and raise the bobbin thread!
When I was winding the bobbin I figured out that if I press into the hand wheel just a little bit then it fixes the issue.

Got a free sewing machine from the buy nothing group. They said it doesn’t work consistently. Seems like it might need to be cleaned or belts tightened.

We’ll see!

Re: Scott Thompson Tour on KITH Reddit Oof! I have had to really take some time to process my experience of seeing his one man show. Scott has joined the dark side now. It’s sad to see his embracing of boomer conservative ideology. In the show he disparages the younger LGBTQ community and has embraced MAGA talking points. It is very disappointing and probably the first time I have had the “don’t meet your heroes” experience with a comedian I truly enjoyed for so long prior to now.
