This is something that should be talked about more! The astonishing amount of jobs lost by black women! Black women are majority single women with children (~60%), loss of jobs, benefits, healthcare, is devastating! It hits AA first, then filters out to the rest!

2) This is crazy! The average age of a nurse is 55 + and soon retiring, so if they aren’t replaced, when bird flu hits or the aging boomers hit the healthcare system en masse who will be there? The U.S. already has the worst health outcomes than any industrialized country with equal resources!

1) Just a few years back we had Covid and not enuf nurses. This country does not have the nurses to meet its needs. We have worked hard to increase the education and the pipeline. Now the dept of mis-education is trying to declassify and prevent nurses from being able to access student loans.

Oh they know which is why they are doing it. They know it’s a path for many women into the middle class-especially women of color! Remember they want women of color gone and white women back home in the kitchen! Welcome to 1900’s! 🤦🏽♀️
