in addition to being a big creepy doofus this guy also spent the 90's pushing for the regulatory reform that cleared the way for the 2008 financial crisis so it is really unclear what enlightened ideas this guy really needs to be teaching. but those ideas are probably really valuable to some donors

it seems inevitable that the WH will one day argue in court that the contents of the signal chat were simultanously not classified (insofar as members of the admin did not break the law) but very much classified (when it comes gunning for the atlantic)

when SV people say they want to drive efficiencies in defense, they really mean they want in on the MIC money spigot and are fine with not really doing anything for the country's defense capabilities. worse can even be better for them if it means more money for improvements ad nauseam.
