They absolutely have not provided evidence of chain of custody of the drugs. The whole point about th coast guard is that these boats are in Venezuelan waters and are probably going to Trinidad not the US. This is all a Macho PR campaign; it's not going to affect drugs coming to the US.

And since when has the charge of simply moving drugs been death? Change the law if that is what you want.

What proof do they have in these attacks that it is drugs? That is why you interdict with the coast guard. But we are now judge, jury and executioner from a drone camera. That should not sound like a good idea to you. What's next a guy is driving a pick-up and i/o checking just shoot a missel?

So what if he was smuggling something else than drugs? Do we now just kill suspected drug runners instead of the coast guard interdiction? So should we just use drone to shoot missiles when we see someone running from police?
