Three years of this gorgeous Stellar’s Jay coming to visit us when we’re in Ucluelet. It taps its beak on the railing outside to let us know it’s here. I’ve never seen another one do this. Even at home where we have a whole crew that visits us.

I love small town Vancouver Island Co-op stores. This is a decent quality non stick frying pan. Thick base. Riveted handle. It was $33🇨🇦. Our cabin is very well stocked but only has stainless steel pans. I'll be making pancakes with this and then bringing it home with me.
