FYI I am working on a contracted paper (as the EIC) and reaching out to seasoned doctoral level professors about these issues (again, not just random thoughts)— so if you ever enjoy these scholarly papers about how to fix things, I am always open to new researchers as well!

This is just food for thought on my end (not directed at anyone I followed) but the point is, we should help others. Even if the truth makes the privileged uncomfortable. It doesn’t affect their salaries, after all.

If you, at your “cross your fingers and swear” best little university ever has solved job inequity a. Let me know when you’re hiring and b. Remember that is not the norm and we cannot pretend it is if we want to help others

defending profs (mind you not adjuncts, tenured track professors as a whole) when there are literally lists of salaries available where I am publicly to prove wealth disparity: Do not say you found some good ones. The good ones aren’t making statements like that. They’re actually trying to help!
