My son is a senior and applying to grad school. The professors he has been working with advised him to apply to foreign universities as they didn’t know how the funding situation would be for assistantships. He did and has admission and funding from a UK university. Smart kid. Our loss, their gain.

When I bought my first house, I was asked if I was a permanent resident and to show proof. They won’t give you a loan without you being at least a PR.

Not responding is inexcusable. Yeah, they can say hey I am busy and I need a few days to come by and fix it, but not even responding is just unprofessional. Not much sympathy from me on that.
