Russia criticizes Mark Carney for openly supporting Ukraine and specifically calls out his use of the phrase “Slava Ukraini” (Glory to Ukraine), implying it is extremist or inappropriate. Only once have I noted Pierre Poilievre saying Slava Ukraïni, in early 2024.

Super tickled to launch a new knitting pattern, including a new super-simple moebius loop cast-on that I "unvented." It's free at knitty.com/ISSUEss25/PA...

Thank you so much to Amy @knitty.com for publishing it, and thank you @kateatherley.bsky.social for your genius-level editing skills!

Being a person with deadly, incurable cancer who is nonetheless still alive for an indefinite timeframe gives me an interesting metaphor that helps me deal with things like large-scale corruption in government or commerce.

Bear with me for a second while I try to explain.

Here's a great feed that shows you gift links to great articles, often longform. (Search for "gift links" to find more.)

Bonus tip: Go to Settings > Content and media > Manage saved feeds to pin and unpin your feeds to your bsky home page

A new app to give you notifications for lists that you're added to. Looks useful.
If you follow this you will still receive notifications for any lists that you're added to, including starter packs, block lists and feed lists.
