It could be, yes. Set a goal to spend (X) amount of time on your creative project, and track how often you stick to the plan. For me, it’s most useful for tracking goals of all sizes. It’s very satisfying to check a box or cross out an item when you completed that task.

Yup. There’s so much we can’t control. We just have to trust that we brought our best effort on the project and let it stand or fall on its own.

There are a lot of great cartoonists that like a fixed line width, and I appreciate their work. But I’m with you: when I finally switched to a brush pen I felt like my art improved exponentially almost immediately.
