Even items in poor condition are welcome — old T-shirts and socks, curtains, sheets and stuffed animals can all be dropped off at the RDF Wellesley, giving them a second life and keeping them out of landfills.

Our winter road maintenance in action! This salt brine solution gets applied before storms to stop ice from bonding to roads. These large trucks need room to maneuver - keeping vehicles off the roadways during treatment and storms helps our crews work safely and efficiently!

Snow removal and clean up activities commonly take place during overnight hours, and vehicles parked in the public way impede this process. Vehicles parked overnight in the public way may be ticketed and/or towed.

Today our Park & Tree division assembled an ice rink at the Hunnewell Field basketball courts. Wellesley Fire Department is flooding the rink now. Once it freezes over, grab your skates and enjoy some outdoor winter fun right here in town!
