I don't know the answer to this so I'm going with Stormy McStormface, but I do remember reading about all kinds of named historical storms from the 1700s and 1800s so The Weather Channel is very much a McStormface-come-lately.

Look, if we're gonna talk about dogs winning a best actor award, I think inveterate leg-humping actors like Errol Flynn or Leonardo DiCaprio have to take precedence. The former even won a Bambi award.

"Charlie don't surf" is one of the two most memorable lines spoken by Robert Duval's character in Apocalypse Now. The Clash's tune appeared on Sandanista, their flawed but still epic triple album.

Yes, there's some awfulness here from the regime and the reporters who in theory report on them, but on the lighter side we have "missionary lizards," including the venomous JD Vance who gets roundly slagged, and a bunch of good music.

Congressional Democrats, who enthusiastically supported sanctions against Venezuela which overwhelming harmed only the country's poor, should introduce sanctions against the criminal regime headquartered just down the street from them. Propose that they be banned from using U.S. banks, for instance.

I know I'm way late on this one but Mixue is the world's largest fast food place because ice cream and tea is the Breakfast of Champions and it won't be long until Americans recognize this. It just needs to blow up on TikTok.

My answer to the @MuckRack Daily trivia question:
It was Deacon Jones who coined the word "sack" for football, based on his experiences as an 18th century pirate, sacking and pillaging towns and ships before lending his name to the endlessly voracious seas (Deacon Jones's Locker).
