Slipper lobster larvae can eat venomous jellyfish tentacles without problems, but will die if injected with the venom. Scientists looked through the lobster poop for answers. In the poop, they found the stinging cells wrapped in a goopy protein matrix, keeping them from stinging the lobster’s gut.

Size difference salmonids
Two salmonids gazing into each other’s eyes with glee and warmth, the much larger and chubbier salmonid is sitting on the ground and leaning back a bit with his arm supported by an inactive ink bomb, his hand fin pushes into his huge squishy belly which the small salmonid lays belly-down on. The small salmonid’s legs positioned as though in the middle of climbing his much larger mate’s body. This position shows off his old and torn tighty-whitey underwear which his bulge pokes prominently through, pushing against his big partner’s belly. Neither of the two are wearing more than just underwear, the larger fish being in a bright speedo-like garment. It’s a very tender and intimate moment for them as little hearts sprout between their longing looks. Size difference rules. I didn’t have to change too much about this one, but what I did change made a pretty big difference. I realized I had completely forgotten the big guy’s nostrils, which made him look really odd in retrospect, like he didn’t have a snout. Other than that though it was mostly just thickening some parts of the outline to help the silhouette. Also made the hearts pink in this one, bet you can’t guess where that pink comes from
