1: College graduates, on average, have around 4.5x the net worth of those without degrees and earn substantially more - relief that specifically targets those with degrees is inherently benefiting a wealthier demographic.

Yeah I was being half-facetious and I get that, especially in America cost of living can vary wildly. Mostly what annoys me is that so much energy is spent advocating for the American “middle class” (e.g. student debt relief) that would be better spent advocating for the working and lower class
