Ireland is 1 of only 4 countries in Europe with an average of LESS than 1 FT employee per academy. The above slide is not a criticism of volunteers btw. They are & always will be the bedrock of Irish football, it just isn't possible to develop world class players in a volunteer led environment.

In short, the problem we're trying to solve is how do we develop players (Boys & Girls) through our player pathway, that are good enough to consistently play in one of the Top 5 leagues in Europe, therefore bringing success to our senior 🇮🇪 teams.
