Like *scratches head* This is what I'm throwing at the wall so far and yeah this process will be different for everyone but yaknow.

Oh yeah I'm aiming to keep this fic T rated. Basically I can expand a bit more with maturity on thing (Specifically Kayleigh's quest is in my crosshairs) but I do plan to really do anything like... to explicit.

I'm not one to really shy away from relationships and how sex plays into them, but dawg this is the third chapter we're not here yet but at the same time, it is a bridge that needs crossing here.

I plan to bring it up again with Meredith too. Her line about that was very... nearly metaphor free.

The biggest challenge to me tho, is probably conveying what fusion is. Fusion is a metaphor for things, and can even be read romantically in situations.

I wanted to focus more on trust but uh, Kayleigh herself def reads it in a way so I have to be mindful of that.

I'm trying to not heavily rely on the og script of CB because I want to encourage people to play the game instead, but I feel like Kayleigh's line there just hits like a truck.

The intro paragraph is based off of something I doing with SoT, where I have Malaya's journal entries as a point of framing.

I'm not going to give the game away on the framing device of SFoS, but the intros are all from Kayleigh's perspective.

Starting with a battle with just Kayleigh also kinda helps illustrate what someone that's used to how fighting works should move, and the recruit she fights is new to this as well creating a dynamic that you can compare with her and Ody once we get there.

Really need to iron out things, but I had a lot of fun writing the battle scenes in S/W and really wished I could have done more with that.

The battle system in Cassette beasts has a lot of room for imagination. I want to try to write them more like a pokemon battle from the anime.

Both of these titles are actually not set, but the chances of them changing is pretty low especially with SoT because I've been calling that fic that for like, two years now.

Somehow the new fic *also* has two ocs of mine in a weird situationship why do I keep doing this.
