I’m not upset. I’m bemused that activists thought they would be more effective by giving up a platform where they had considerable influence and self segregating on a site almost no one else reads.

Not saying the FL law is good, just that there have always been civil rights exceptions for minors so it's a special subset of the population and doesn't necessarily extend to the overall population. Ex: voting rights don't extend to minors.

Ok but school libraries are a special category (because minors). Mentioning the existence of trans people being illegal isn't really a thing, just a reductionist way of referring to the FL law (same special category). Not saying they aren't issues but not examples of restricted speech writ large?

Many would say that the R's are *too* pro-speech and that the D's have been the censorious party. What are examples of the R's 'rapidly intensifying crackdowns on speech'? I see the tiktok thing as bipartisan so curious what you have in mind.

I've tried both, both are good, and the Chromatic is essentially perfect with a superior screen. Plus the ModRetro team is great.

Not saying it's a universal experience or anything, but it does exist and is temporary for some.

I have a relative who experienced rapid onset gender dysphoria, was about to act irreversibly on it, waited, and now 5 years later she's glad she didn't follow thru. It came suddenly, and left suddenly 18 months later. Says she was influenced by social media during a vulnerable part of high school.

No, but it might sway some who are wondering if he has a point about this or that but just need to hear him refuted. Lots of people have weakly held opinions that can change.

No my experience is talking. I've changed my mind, changed my religious conviction, persuaded others, etc. Numerous examples from my own life. With respect, you don't know me and I don't know you.
