A very long day but absolutely worth the trip. Stunning birds in beautiful light and an amazing landscape.

Little Bittern at Stour Valley LNR yesterday evening in very low light.
Couldn't quite believe my eyes when it flew up river & landed amongst tangled roots on the opposite bank.
