I had to swap to ebike for health reasons and it has a more upright position and I am definitely seeing more and being more immersed in my route .

Have you tried #komoot app as if you set it to gravel it will find ways away from busy roads - I use it all the time to stay off busy roads if I can and on cycle ways

I was same after a heart attack and stent fitted , jumped on my newly acquired ebike , 2500kms in a year , onwards and upwards

I totally agree , although cornering on frozen roads can still be a bit tricky
