FBREF has xG data back to 2017-18. A team has never finished higher than 6th with a negative xG diff.
So they'd have to improve their underlying play over a streak where they've won, like 9 straight in the PL. That doesn't seem likely to happen.

Whilst I don’t think Watkins was player of the match I thought he worked really hard and his hold up play was good. Just need the goals to come as well. Interesting to see people who can’t see what he did. Good barometer of people who don’t get football

So I’ve had fairly deep dive on the history of Argentinian football and from what I can see Emi Buendia is their greatest ever player and there aren’t any other potential candidates #AVFC
