Coconut crabs are Earth’s largest terrestrial arthropods! They have an incredible sense of smell, can live for ~60 years, and can crack bone with their claws! I’m finishing a paper on the genetic basis of their fantastic colors, so stay tuned!! 🦀🦑🌊
