Parks aren’t just for summer. Winter is one of the best times to be outside—the quiet, the snow, the fresh air! Biidaasige Park is a great place to slow down, ski, walk, and enjoy the season as it is.

On Saturday, January 17, Lake Shore Blvd E westbound will be closed from Don Roadway to Cherry Street for a one day watermain installation on the Lake Shore Bridge. Weather date: Saturday, January 24.

Update: Starting as early as late September, eastbound Eastern Avenue at Broadview will be reduced to one lane for watermain work. Some overnight full closures of the Don Valley Parkway on-ramp and the Broadview & Eastern intersection are expected, with possible nighttime noise.

Flashback Photo from 2024: The park on the west side of the island is being graded to the designed elevation.
