9/ Rare pathogens overview: Candida auris and Hepatitis A had at least one detection in the 380 samples collected in the past 10 days. Measles, West Nile Virus, and Mpox Clade Ib and II did not.
Dials summarizing detections for all monitored rare pathogens. There were no detections for measles, Mpox clade Ib, Mpox clade II, and West Nile Virus, and a low number of detections for Candida auris and hepatitis A.

6/ EV-D68: EV-D68 is in the ‘Low’ category nationally and is not in season. Detections are increasing in the West.

4/ RSV: Nationally, RSV is not in season (no “onset” of an event in wastewater). It is being detected more frequently, and 6% of plants are in onset.

3/ COVID-19 Variants: In sequencing data from a subset of WWSCAN sites from the week of Nov 15, 2025, we are seeing the XFG variant in orange make up approximately 87% of variants. Note sequencing data has a longer lag of 1-2 weeks after collection.
