I really really don't. I've been doing this every single day for five years and I have only improved marginally. I met a guy this summer who was in his 70s, never painted or drew before, and after four months his watercolors are professional grade. Just lovely. That guy has natural talent!

But so many nearly identical views of the GC

I'll never understand why his oils are more famous.

Whistler, however, leaves me cold. Who goes to Venice and sees brown, brown, unrelenting brown?

The Monets were nice too.
