My partner and I are going through anime we watched when we were younger and the original Record of Lodoss War hits so different now. Could be that we have a lot of D&D experience now. But that late 80s, early 90s character design is so good. Look at her and tell me shes not that girl.

I started "The Children of Jocasta" back in 2022 and I finally finished it today. A solid read that I should have finished two years ago. Really enjoyed how it wrapped up, which is rare for a retelling. 4/5 👍

I expected Nyx to be lethargic and sleepy after being spayed, but she has refused to nap for 8 hours, is high AF, and is using her cone as a bumper during zoomies.

Rough few weeks with a very sick senior cat. Bub has cancer and at 15, we're just trying to make him happy and comfortable. He's eating again (nothing but salmon, thanks) and bopping Nyx when she wants to play because he cannot be bothered.

Spent yesterday preparing for the tropical storm. Preparing for something that isn't an earthquake is odd.
