It's because people seem to think that we know everything or *can* know everything. It's the whole "end of history" idea but for science.

Im more on the fantastical art side of things so my toys aren't realistic at all, I just think as a design choice it's extremely overused.

I think its just iconic at this point. From what I've seen, a lot of newer folk to the niche tend to use it. Alongside belly nozzles and round mit paws it's one of the main signifiers of "pooltoy furry"

I like in in the context of an inanimate or semi inanimate toy.
My character Gator is like this. Totally unmoving features.

I like when it's meant to convey a feeling, not just like...the default for pooltoys, I guess.

so far it's hard to tell. Myles *says* that you can go wherever now, I only hope it let's go of my hand at least a little bit.

2 hours is a *long* time for a game in this series to get to the Metroid parts.

Everything besides what I've mentioned has been amazing. Gameplay, music, visuals. (5/5)

and music, felt like another tutorial area. There's zero exploration. You just...walk in a straight line and do puzzle chambers until you get to the end. Once you *do* get to the end, you're spat out onto the desert.

I want to believe I'm out of the tutorial now but with how the game has been (4/5)

You get to Volt Forge, scan the map terminal, and IMMEDIATELY he explains your whole objective.
For a series about getting lost on alien worlds and figuring things out based on context clues, it really feels like there's zero faith in the player here.

What *isnt* entertaining is his constant backseating. I know its early in the game when he shows up, but he shows up after the tutorial is supposedly over.

Once you get to the next area you think you'd be done with him...well then he pops up on the radio to tell you what to do again. (2/5)
