I wonder if "cold run" could work (from "cold read" in acting)? Unfortunately I don't think "cold date" will take bc it'll contrast with "hot date" and people might assume it's a bad thing

Our justice system is fucked in such a way that you should actually never cooperate with a US police interview as a suspect. If you're called in for police questioning, the only thing to do is demand an attorney and invoke your right to remain silent, even (especially!) if you're innocent.
