This morning, federal agents killed a Minneapolis resident, 37-year old mother Renee Good. My heart breaks for Renee’s family. Thank you to the thousands of residents who have shown up to support each other and call for ICE out of Mpls.

Dear neighbors, I am on the ground with other council members near Portland Ave and 33rd St E. Residents witnessed federal agents shoot an observer. The resident was transported to a hospital. I will keep you updated as information comes out.

Last night there was a shooting in Dinkytown that resulted in one person losing their life, as well as several injuries. My office is in communication with MPD and UMPD and will share any updates. MPD will be doing extra patrols in the area.
