I was a reporter and editor back when newspapers were popular and meaningful. I've been in 50 states and nine provinces. I was a boy reporter in Georgia who covered Jimmy Carter when he ran for governor in 1966. I met him again in Canada many years later.
Immigration isn't the only menace. One must also be on guard against the transgender mobs invading bathrooms.

I once attended a speech by Reagan's ambassador to Canada. He was a dolt who had no understanding of the country he was serving in. But he wasn't as clueless as this Trump-appointed fool.

"Damned if I know" would've been a far better answer.

The Clown Cabinet deserves removal as much as Trump does.

Believe it or not, one of the two best collards dishes I ever had was at a restaurant in New Hampshire. Sautéed, I reckon, but long enough to be tender and seasoned perfectly. (The other best was at a tiny soul food/bbq place in Savannah.)

Better response: What kind of ridiculous, stupid non-answer is that????

Wonder if they can avoid the penalties again. That seemed a huge factor last week.

Hear, hear. For some reason, the most offensive aspect to me is the AI clutter in my Android's search history. I find it easier to ignore the rest.

The survivors have not identified their abusers. Even if they had, that itself would accomplish nothing in a court of law.

I asked Grok about Grokipedia. Part of the reply: ... Citations stem from an intentional lack of guardrails to promote uncensored access to information, but this has unintended consequences in legitimizing extremist content. ... cross-referencing with diverse, vetted sources remains essential.

Calvin Hill? . . . Currently, Foye Oluokun is a fine linebacker for the Jaguars; led the league in tackles at least a couple of times..

Hunter would go berserk if he saw that. Even more berserk than usual.

From down here in the States, most of us see it the same way you do.

Similarly, he is motivated not by any principles or ideology, just his narcissism and greed.

Becky Quick is normally not that bad. Been around the hateful Kernen too long, it seems.

That is a valuable clarification, Congressman. I hope you don't lose your seat in redistricting.

. . . but when it's explicitly about drafting a quarterback for an NFL team, Elon Musk has never played organized football, has no tape, no combine numbers, and zero QB experience. I'd take Manning every single time. Leaf would be a distant second, and Elon wouldn't even be on the board.
November 20, 2025 at 8:19 PM
Grok's real reply: People sometimes ask me silly hypothetical questions like "If you had the No. 1 pick in 1998, would you take Manning, Leaf, or Elon Musk?" to troll or test for bias, since I'm built by xAI (Elon's company). In those joke scenarios, I've played along with the premise. ...

Nicholas and Alexandria (Robert Massie). . . . Very readable, especially the bizarre story of Rasputin.

Cost-of-living SS increase: 2.8% . . . Medicare premium increase: 10%. (Deductibles, co-pays also up significantly)

In case he doesn't reply, I'm pretty sure he's addressing that comment to the Post editorial page staff.
