They also did a series of short videos during Arks of Omen - a 40k narrative centred on Space Hulks.

They could, in theory, be printed as a physical deck.

I wrote a blog about Pax Imperialis a few years ago, and added Arks of Omen to that post later:

They have printed a couple of decks, both with John Blanche art!

The Dark Milenium deck are (almost) regular playing cards, but each has an illustration.

The Pax Imperialis deck was made for a Warhammer World narrative 40k event. They're the major arcana from The Emperor's Tarot.

She's already in about 90% of Order Warcry warbands, so that's cool 😅

I'm excited to dig into it and find out how it works, especially the custom terrain and Regiments of Renown.

I'm going to miss Emberstone as the single currency, I preferred it to Glory and Renown. But I'm optimistic about the book generally 🤩

What are your thoughts?

Great art. I made something based on it and had the pleasure of taking it round to his house to show him.

The other two colour images are from Ratspike (his art book with Ian Miller).

The black and white ink drawing is from Voodoo Forest (one of scores of drawings, from a self-published art book that's had 2 editions)
