3. practically zero reward for exploring the world between primary points of interest—despite them being fairly far apart. chests are pretty much always guarded by enemies instead of doubling as a reward for exploration (tombs being the rare exception)

that’s an extremely popular outfit, do people online just … completely fail to parse fashion trends? everything else is a ‘connection’ people solely made by assuming there was one to begin with

have not tried the english voiceover options but to be quite honest with you this is the rare instance where I think ‘people think the japanese voice acting is better because they can’t understand it’ actually applies. it’s ridiculously anime

1. I think I agree with the sentiment that the dual protagonists gimmick feels like its to the detriment if the game & that they should have gone with only one

2. naoe’s backstory is excruciatingly boring and we dedicate way too much time to it

it’s just a label they awkwardly slap onto whatever historical exploration fantasy they want. every gesture towards an overarching plot is just pretense and at this point it’s presumed that the player knows this

I think they just spin a roulette wheel to decide whether or not they include the spoiler characters in merch. wasn’t expecting anything but the moment I saw the buttons were sprites I felt a little disappointed anyway

finished F&C s1 and it was pretty okay. like I don’t think it really justifies the necessity of its own existence still … but it does fix one of my major problems with the original show, and that’s at least a significant positive contribution

it's a really simple tool (I wasn't expecting it to use any kind of framework, really) but now I have to parse through some extremely outdated $scope spam to work through the logic
