We get together and we have goon-offs. Everyone loves it.

55: The Fable: Manga Build Roguelike

Much like Hayo, beating this on normal is actually pretty fast and easy, but the pro mode is a BIG step up, and the puzzle mode owns. I really do love the central gameplay loop of linking together panels to form manga pages as your attacks. It's a lot of fun.

54: Hayo and the Emporium

A pretty breezy shop management roguelike. It won't take you long to finish the normal mode, but the whole thing is really charming and the unlockable hard mode is really fun. the character designs are all really cute and idk man it's got an elf who always needs to piss.

I might not even take one of those two entirely because they get unlocked fairly early so I'd get them soon enough on a new playthrough, while some characters only show up in like the last 10 missions so bringing them back for NG+ means you get to use them right from the start.

All game long, so it's actually very worthwhile to take girls who only have a few missions because it means they're actually around the whole time now.

This also includes new forms for characters who get those, you get to access those right away.

Of my original plan for 6 characters, I'm down to like... Youmu or Yuyuko lol

Nue and Murasa have also made a crazy power play in the last stretch. Pairing them together means they're just demolishing everything at all times, AND they get a boost when Ichirin is around too so I GOTTA take her, and Byakuren is just so lovely I can't not have her, and

Parsee is extremely strong. She has a passive where she's jealous of enemies so she does more damage to them based on how many skills they have, which means she's just a fuckin nuke when it comes to bosses.

But also all of her dialogue is perfect and beautiful and I love her, she sucks.

I'd probably enjoy Gnosia and more Cinderella Grey, if nothing else, but yeah there wasn't as much that was exciting me.

I'll get back to watching anime, of course, just, y'know, bad year for keeping on top of stuff ADHD already made difficult.
