Imagine the old-loves coming back to life the way you have them in your head. My example of that would be Oni. How I saw Muro vs how Muro looked like, lol.

Waited a whole year to finish Blood Oath series with Bite of Justice by R.L. Caulder and it… Mostly didn’t disappoint. The supernatural world is about to change. Only natural not everyone cares about the new status quo. 🦇 #dracember #dracember2025 #draculabooks #booksky

We seem to be getting a lot of Dracula. And a lot of book adaptations. And a lot of gothic splendors in general. Whilst Abraham’s Boys(2025) wasn’t a great movie, it was still a delight. 🦇 wannabekingpin.substack.com | #dracember #dracember2025 #abrahamsboys #dracula

Love Vivian Shaw and her Dr. Greta Helsing series on a doctor for the supernaturals. I didn’t entirely expect more after the last book. Nor did I expect Bitter Waters to have Dracula in it. And so well written too. 🦇 wannabekingpin.substack.com | #dracember #dracula #vivianshaw #booksky

I tend to consciously avoid match-3 types of games, because they’re extremely addictive. So, of course, Universe had to deliver me one with Dracula. No, this isn’t a complaint, please, more! 🦇 wannabekingpin.substack.com | #dracember2025

It took me a while to get through Curse of Dracula by Kathryn Ann Kingsley, the second book in Immortal Soul duology. Whilst appealing in many ways, it was slow all throughout 🦇 wannabekingpin.substack.com | #booksky #dracember2025 #dracula

There were very many expectations going into Nosferatu (2024) movie, directed by no other than Robert Eggers. Cinematography, acting, story. Didn't expect it to be this genuinely horrifying, with a monster that has zero chance at redemption arc: wannabekingpin.substack.com #dracember

Fifth year of #dracember, and it's better, more beautiful, than it has ever been. Come, join me in some dark revelry! 🦇 #decemberwithdracula #dracember2025

Great way to end November, and, in a way a year (iykyk), with The Woods all Black by Lee Mandelo. Beautiful, dark, queer story set in the old rural Appalachia and all that this setting entails. 🐼 wannabekingpin.substack.com | #bookreview #booksky #horrorbooks #lgbtqbooks

Dipped back into my TBR of the more recently released and found When the Moon Hits Your Eye by John Scalzi. About… Well, what if the moon was cheese? | #booksky #scifi

Alright. It’s time. Let’s talk about Clockworks of Oz by Casper Hedron, first in the trilogy of, I believe, the same title. And why both the book and the author are problematic: wannabekingpin.substack.com | #booksky #retelling #vakarisreads

Picked up Middle Spoon by Alejandro Varela via challenge. It didn’t disappoint. The book grappled with a topic of polyamory where one of the partners is too insecure to give it a chance, and how it affects others in the relationship. 🐼 #booksky #polyamory #lgbtqbooks

Got Lights Out by Navessa Allen, first book in the Into Darkness series (of stand-alones) recommended to me by a masked content creator. It has solid dark elements to it and is overall pretty good, given it’s still straight. 🐼 #booksky #darkromance

Nothing prepared me for what Sinners (2025) movie was. Such classic, proper American horror film, set in Mississippi Delta, early 1900s. A dark story, full of passion, danger, and that raw desire for life. Can’t recommend it enough. 🦇 wannabekingpin.substack.com | #vampires #sinners

This is one of my most stolen pictures of Dracula book picture. If you want it for a mood board: you're welcome to it, I do not mind, just want to make this known if anyone ever wondered 🦇🖤 #dracula #vampire #moodboard

Chuck Tingle books are always wild concepts, and Lucky Day is no exception. This time around we’re propelled into a very low probability event. Literally. 🐼 #booksky #scifihorror #chucktingle #luckyday

Oh, things escalated. Things escalated in Ghost Money by Stephen Blackmoore hard and fast, finally propelling Eric Carter series from okay to great. Finished the fifth and am very much eyeing the sixth 🐼 #booksky #ericcarter #urbanfantasy #octoberreads

October is treating me right. Wish they stopped raking up all the damn leaves though.

Have you watched or read anything autumnal? Recommend me something.

Just me and my bunny, watching aliens kidnap people of Los Santos, as per every October / Halloween. Is bunny an actual person who has eaten a jack-o-lantern? Maybe, you'll never know.
