the issue that you as the more experienced one might end up effectively mothering this young trans person…which some people aren’t up for. But yea talking like adults is gonna be the default way of dealing with any possible issue

as experience being the younger/less experienced tgirl in a similar dynamic it can go wrong really really badly without anyone really noticing. At a certain point you’ll want to make a clear distinction ‘trans elder with advice and experience specifically about transitioning’ and ‘girlfriend’
