Proof of concept. We can grow saffron here!! 🌱🫛
There are only a dozen saffron farms in the USA and the price will skyrocket with global warming - if you live in a dry hot climate or anything similar to Iran you can absolutely grow this crocus, it's easy and doesn't require hardly any water!!

Doing the sand base for a chicken coop is the way to go. Cleaning the coop today felt like doing a zen garden!
Really enjoying the birds. The two minorcas still do not want to go back in the coop at night and I have to herd them back in!

I have 4 pounds of tomatoes frozen for the winter, about a gallon of tomato paste, 8 jars of frozen spaghetti sauce, we gave away more than 100 POUNDS of tomatoes, and still the plants are producing!!
At this point I'm exhausted from picking tomatoes. We don't pick the micro minis anymore 🌱🫛

I just processed all those tomatoes last week and then Abby slams down these baskets full of another 12 pounds of tomatoes and says "do something with these. I have so many more to pick"
