I know he didn't mean to, so maybe this is where a rule of intent comes into play and I'm currently ignorant on that front.

Genuinely curious because I really don't seem to understand the rules. Why do you think so? From my vantage, his hand was up weirdly beside his head, so not in a natural position and away from his body. And it redirected the path of the ball from being a potential flick on.

Very true, but also Alpi wouldn't have had the space to dominate if the threat of Durant wasn't there. So, even if he's not on ball his presence itself will still help late game.

I literally despise big guys who play defense by stepping in the way with the intention of just falling down. I think arm down charges from big guys should be illegal and fineable offenses. I hate it from little guys, too, but at least those are a little more understandable.

I'm worried. For someone that small I feel like I need to see better ball security. If he doesn't have that, isn't a knock down shooter, doesn't leap off the screen with quickness, isn't even in the right positions on defense... I know OKC can guard like no other collective team, but...

I agree, I want him back but we got 81 more games and he clearly is gonna need to play as many as possible.

Yeah, that makes even more sense being down a man. And Arsenal were still mocked for it. But City did it today on purpose on even terms. Look forward to hearing the think pieces about City being afraid and intentionally making the game ugly and boring...
