Luxury homes are fortunate enough to have rear gardens that lead right down to the sand but now a fence has been put up and there is also a sign warning people to stay within a 1.8m-wide path on the beach, adding: "Trespassers will be prosecuted."

I can attest to the accuracy of the BHPSs statement as needed to re-establish a garden fence that had blown down. It had a mound of leaves against one side. I tried to move it and prickled my hand - it was a hedgehog - they live fallen leaves!!
