This type of thinking leads us to more "lesser of evils" - I understand the vote withholding stance. Both are evil, the Dems just happen to light the match and throw fuel on the flame. Repubs are keeping the fire going. Please don't pretend Dems are any better. Let them lose and rebuild the party.
