One thing missing in this whole debate is that frontline Democrats ran largely as moderates in 2024--ads filled with cops and sheriffs, border crackdowns, oil drilling, and bipartisan stamps of approval. If it were a cure-all, the map would look different by now.

Trump’s stunt in weaponizing D.C.’s security forces is succeeding in working some of the refs at Morning Joe. The scandals and corruption fade, the spectacle wins.

On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, hosts performed Trump’s script, trading fear stories about D.C. nights. It was liberal surrender to authoritarian choreography: amplifying panic to make his distraction and seizure of the city seem inevitable, even reasonable.

Plenty of talk about Zohran Mamdani. But has any Democratic Party leader condemned Eric Adams for inventing the “End Antisemitism Party” just to dodge the primary and run as an independent? Weaponizing antisemitism to distract from your record for personal gain is dangerous, MAGA-style politics.
